Part of an ongoing series of time-based calligraphy videos, this work was produced in collaboration with Gold Mountain Society using a sharpened and honed fingernail in place of the conventional brush.  2013

This abstraction video is written by the Gold Mountain Society and manipulated in production and post production by Hoover.  It is ideally displayed on two parallel portrait oriented monitors in order to reference the original poems written by the GMS which took the form of Chinese traditional Duai Lian poems.  This form of poetry consists of two 7 character vertical scrolls displayed next to each other, or often on opposite posts of a doorway.
